To meet their land stewardship goals in collaboration with a local tribe, Tuolumne River Trust (TRT) was matched with a team of pro bono environmental attorneys to draft a Memorandum of Understanding that outlines the cooperative effort between itself and a local Native American tribe on a meadow restoration project.

TRT holistically protects the entire watershed by uniting advocacy, restoration, and education into a force for change. They shape sustainable water policies, heal ecosystems, revive critical habitats like those of the Chinook salmon, and empower communities to become active stewards. This interconnected approach ensures the watershed thrives, securing a healthy Tuolumne River for generations to come.
TRT sought assistance from Green Pro Bono regarding a new project to create and implement a longterm land stewardardship plan in cooperation with a local Native American tribe that will restore and protect ecologically sensitive and culturally significant meadowlands.
