Green Pro Bono follows a rigorous screening process in selecting project proposals from non-profits and social entrepreneurs. To apply for a legal match, a potential client fills out a Request for Assistance form and our team screens the client's proposal based on several key factors including:

• the mission and size of the project;
• the projected timetable for the project;
• the feasibility of the project;
• the status of the project's financing;
• past awards or fellowships awarded to the project, and
• the project's anticipated impact on a key problem related to climate change and/or its potential to help underprivileged communities and/or the developing world address or deal with climate change.

Once a project is approved, we identify the legal team or lawyer appropriate for that project by contacting our network of skilled attorneys and pro bono coordinators.
